According to the Orkut.com homepage,
Orkut.com is under construction.
They have not specified when they will be back. Mostly these measures are taken for the maintenance of the servers or for safety & security.
They have been updating the site with modifications without actually taking it offline.
But this time they have taken it offline. Let’s see when its online again.
