We originally did CHMOD the files, but when we do that, the content cannot be accessed, once the files are published…

Nobody except you has this problem. So the problem seems to be on your side.
Are you able to edit other themes?
Try CHMOD’ing the files to 666.

This is a great template! We are having one problem. When we try to edit the theme in theme editor, we get the message “If this file were writable you could edit it.” If we try to change permissions, the files don’t work, when uploaded. How can we edit the theme?

Hi Roger,
Linking: In header.php on line 30 change

“>< ?php bloginfo('name'); ?>

< ?php bloginfo('name'); ?>

Paragrapgs: Insert the following code in style.css
p {
padding: 0px 0px 15px;
margin: 0px;
}
You can change the 15px value to any value you want. Less would make the space between paragraphs less and vice versa.

@Skalde: Thanks! Glad you liked my work. @Roger:

Font size - You can change the font size and other attributes in the style.css. To change heading title and subtitle you have to change .heading h2 and .heading h4 elements. You can find them in style.css on line 87 and line 95 respectively.
Header image - You can decrease the height of the top feed links which in turn will make the header image rise higher. Edit the #topnav dd element in style.css on line 51.

While we’re at it, I’d like to make the top image a little higher, too. Any suggestions?
